Shipping policy

Thank you for shopping with Isle of Gaia! We take great care in preparing and packaging every order to help ensure your plants and botanical goods arrive safely.

Shipping Location & Schedule

All orders are shipped from Florida, USA.

Our standard shipping schedule for live plants is:

Packing Day: Monday
Shipping Day: Tuesday

We primarily ship live plants early in the week to help reduce the chance of packages sitting at a carrier facility over the weekend.

Shipping schedules may change due to holidays, severe weather, extreme temperatures, carrier schedules, or other circumstances that could affect the safe delivery of live plants.

Orders placed after our weekly shipping cutoff may ship the following week.

Live Plant & Rose Shipping

Live plants and roses are carefully prepared and packaged for transportation. Because plants are living products, some temporary shipping stress may occur.

Minor leaf loss, yellowing, dropped leaves or blooms, bent foliage, soil displacement, or minor cosmetic damage can naturally occur during shipping and are not considered a dead-on-arrival (DOA) plant.

Roses and other flowering plants are not guaranteed to arrive in bloom. Blooms and buds may be removed or may naturally drop during transportation. The appearance, size, foliage, and bloom stage of your plant may also vary from photographs shown on our website.

Upon arrival, plants should be unpacked promptly and allowed to acclimate gradually to their new environment.

Larger Orders

Large plants and orders containing multiple plants may require larger packaging, multiple boxes, or an upgraded shipping service.

If your order requires additional shipping arrangements or charges, Isle of Gaia will contact you before shipment when necessary.

Weather & Temperature

Customers are responsible for checking current and forecasted temperatures in their area before ordering live plants.

Extreme heat and cold can pose a risk to live plants during transportation. When available or recommended, customers are encouraged to purchase appropriate weather protection.

Isle of Gaia may delay shipment when we reasonably believe weather conditions could significantly jeopardize the health of a live plant. If a shipment is delayed for this reason, we will make reasonable efforts to communicate with the customer.

Weather protection helps reduce temperature-related risks but cannot guarantee against damage caused by extreme temperatures or prolonged carrier delays.

Processing & Delivery Times

Processing and shipping times are estimates and are not guaranteed delivery dates.

Once an order has been transferred to the shipping carrier, delivery times may be affected by weather, holidays, transportation disruptions, and other circumstances outside of our reasonable control.

We are not responsible for carrier delays; however, if a significant issue occurs with your shipment, please contact us promptly so we can help determine the appropriate next steps.

Shipping Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout.

Please review your shipping information carefully before submitting your order. Isle of Gaia is not responsible for delivery issues resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer.

If you notice an error before your order ships, please contact us immediately. We cannot guarantee that an address can be changed once an order has been processed or transferred to the carrier.

Additional shipping charges resulting from an incorrect address, refused package, or package returned to sender may be the responsibility of the customer.

Tracking & Package Delivery

When tracking is available, customers will receive tracking information after their order has been prepared for shipment.

Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and retrieving packages promptly after delivery.

Live plants should not be left outdoors or in mailboxes for extended periods, particularly during extreme temperatures.

Isle of Gaia is not responsible for plant deterioration or damage caused by a package being left unattended after confirmed delivery for an extended period.

Dead on Arrival (DOA) & Shipping Damage

If a live plant arrives dead or has experienced a true total loss during transportation, please contact Isle of Gaia within 2 hours of confirmed delivery.

Clear photos and videos of the plant and original shipping packaging must be provided. Please keep all packaging and the affected plant until your claim has been reviewed.

DOA claims do not include normal shipping stress, minor leaf loss, dropped blooms, cosmetic damage, or other temporary conditions from which the plant can reasonably recover.

Qualifying claims will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances and product availability, an approved resolution may include a replacement, store credit, or refund.

Fresh Flowers & Floral Arrangements

Fresh-cut flowers, bouquets, and floral arrangements are perishable products and may have different delivery or pickup options than live plants.

Availability and delivery options may vary based on location, season, and the type of floral order.

Fresh floral products intended for local pickup or local delivery will not be shipped through standard parcel carriers unless specifically stated on the product listing.

Shipping Restrictions

We currently ship only to locations where our products can legally and safely be delivered.

Certain live plants may be subject to federal or state agricultural restrictions. We reserve the right to cancel and refund an order if we determine that a particular plant cannot legally be shipped to the customer’s destination.

Customers are responsible for understanding any applicable local restrictions regarding plants ordered for delivery.
